HBKU Research Day is an annual event that aims to bring our campus together to showcase our institution’s diverse, multidisciplinary and cross-cutting research. This event demonstrates our commitment to excellence in research by helping our communities with innovative solutions to help tackle current and future challenges.

We have created this opportunity for HBKU researchers, faculty, and students to be recognized for their interdisciplinary, collaborative efforts - across and between our colleges and research institutes, and with leading local and international partners. Our goal for this annual event is to have you experience the diversity and growth of our impact-driven approach to discovery and knowledge creation.

HBKU Research Day will always feature made-in-Qatar solutions in science and technology that focuses on addressing current and future challenges facing communities on a local and global scale.

Since its establishment, the Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) community has engaged in innovative and transformative research initiatives. To highlight these achievements further, the Office of Vice President of Research hosts an annual university-wide HBKU Research Day to showcase the diverse, multidisciplinary, and cross-cutting research of HBKU researchers, faculty and students.

The event provides an opportunity to showcase HBKU’s research projects across key thematic areas and highlight their impact on national priorities. It also promotes discussion on multidisciplinary collaborative research ideas, and recognizes faculty, researchers and students for their scholarly achievements.
